Originally from
Boston, Marc has played organized hockey for 30 years.
He started at 6 years old on a pond next to his house and celebrated his 15th birthday on an all star traveling team in
Brossard
Canada where he was part of an International tournament that included teams from
Russia,
Czechoslovakia,
Rumania and
Canada.
From there he tried out and played on the Bridgewater Raynham Regional High School JV and varsity programs.
After graduating he continued playing while serving 6 years in the United States Navy as an Operations Specialist and Search and Rescue Swimmer, he played at various bases including
Yokosuka,
Japan.
Upon his return to the
United States he tutored
Boston
High School students in advanced math studies while coaching Youth Hockey from Mites to Bantams at area rinks.
Marc was honorably discharged as an OS2 and attended the
University of
Rhode Island with a major in Journalism and played on the URI Rams Varsity Hockey Team, also a club sport.
After leaving URI, he continued on several adult leagues in
Newport and
Providence,
RI until he relocated to
Maryland.
Marc holds a North Carolina General Contractors license in commercial and residential construction and is a consultant with Case Remodeling a national residential remodeling firm with an office in
Charlotte,
NC.
